Our emphasis is on having a fun relaxing time together which is both healthy and relaxing as well as creative.This is a special programme for those with an interest in doing Thai traditional massage as a therapist or for other philanthropic reasons. It will help you master the 2,500 year old techniques in detail as well as gain an appreciative insight into Thai culture and Buddhist influences which go hand in hand with Thai massage. (warm welcome dinner with Khun Tok Northern style dinner with show ) Daily: Breakfast of fresh local fruits Thai traditional breakfast Informal chat/learn about Thai Culture and traditions with Adisak Day 2 : Sat 6th Mar 2010 Trip around local area to soak up street life and visit local Buddhist temples. Our first formal group meditation. Experience Thai traditional massage at Old Massage Hospital - a little therapeutic pampering to help relax and prepare your mind and body for a class the next day. (1 treatment of your choice included.) Dine at a highly creative and relaxing local vegetarian restaurant featuring tantalising innovative and traditional Thai dishes which are healthy and energizing. Vegetarian food in Thailand is delicious, thought provoking and satisfying - even for ardent fans of meat. Browsing local traditional shops and intimate friendly fresh produce markets with dazzling displays, aromas as well as a lovely nightly flower market. This is a unique experience for westerners. Day 3 : Sun 7th Mar 2010 Early Yoga First day of Thai massage class by LSTM Evening - UNMISSABLE EXPERIENCE! Visit the world famous Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market ) The main starting point of this is just 2 minutes walk from BaanBoolOo Guesthouse at Wat Pra Singh Temple. Shop till you drop and go back for more. Adisak will lead the group and give his insights into the local moeurs and mores. Adisak will even help you barter and get the best shopping experience. Day 4 : Mon 8th Mar 2010 Thai style detox induction to compliment breakfast: learn to prepare and enjoy local herbal drinks with Adisak. Includes zesty cleansing teas etc. which can be prepared easily from scratch when you return home. Second day of Thai massage class by LSTM Barbeque Party Thai Style at BaanBoolOo. Free time - Recommend visiting the famous main night life and night shopping area of the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar Day 6 : Wed 10th Mar 2010 Early meditation class and practice with Adisak Third day of Thai massage class by LSTM Dinner at open air local market by the moat.
