One of Adisak’s earnest aims in life is to help lead others to discover the peace and tranquillity of life in what he perceives as “the real Thailand” and to help people grow from within. Whilst Adisak himself has been largely resident in the UK for the passed 5 years and still discovering western life style, he often teases others that his destiny is to become a monk in Thailand in later life and that everyone should take the path to Nirvana at some point. ( Crudely put: Arriving at Nirvana is the concept of understanding oneself and learning to be at peace with the world here and now.) Adisak's intentions are genuine but of course it is recognized that everyone’s life journey has its own path and its own speed. Adisak is very attuned to Buddhist teachings and actions. He is already a guiding light for many individuals in search of something “better” or “different” or "spiritual" as often uttered by Adisak’s Thai massage students and clients. It is important to stress that whilst we trumpet the positive influences of Buddhism in Thailand, people of all denominations are welcome in Thailand and of course on Siam- Horizons holidays too! Buddhism merely embraces and accepts the diversity of mankind. Curriculum Vitae Adisak is a graduate of Finance and Banking from a top university in Thailand. He has a 10 year corporate career in sales and marketing. He is an experienced licensed tour guide in Thailand as well as an specialist in Thai massage. As maturity gained a hold on him, Adisak discovered he needed more out of life than corporate life was able to offer; he turned his attentions increasingly to holistic occupations and his personal spiritual needs. He studied at Wat Po School of Thai Massage in Bangkok and enhanced his experience as a teacher and is a respected practitioner of traditional Thai massage, having also directed the Thai Massage courses in 2007/2008 at Skyros Holistic Holidays in Thailand as well as teaching Thai yoga there after having been an assistant teacher with the London School of Thai massage. Small is beautiful It is with Adisak’s philanthropic leaning in mind and his faith in Thai wisdom and herbs, foods and culture that Siam-Horizons endeavours to provide a ‘Thai family style’ of holiday for any group of participants. The emphasis is on providing a spiritually rich and relaxing break in contrast to often highly commercialized holiday offerings for westerners.
